The "Homo Song" is one of Mara's many unjustly not-yet-world-reknowned-opuses (opi?). It's a skippy lesbian sing-a-long, and everybody loves a skippy lesbian sing-a-long. Especially when it asks a parent to "call her up and let her know that she can be a big HOMO and you'll still love her so." It's the political, the socially-conscious and the skippy all in one song. Not since "Dankeschön" has there been such a diverse, poignant and downright enjoyable song. And that, friends, is an opus.
